Congratulations to ReZ for having completed his ATC

Ok. He completed his ATC. Good for him. By the way, not trying to be insulting, but in kayaking, only noobs sweep. Honestly. And doubles suck.
Anyway ReZ's ATC sounds so slack ok. My BB camp so much worse ok. I try to recall, since all this was like in June. I'll skip all the CE and other not so significant events.

First day I arrived late due to training in the morning. Then we had lunch. Like it was fried fish, vegetables and rice. And being the nice guy who had his nationals 1 month later, I tried to follow the embargo on the first day. It actually means only vegetables and rice. Like dinner also. For supper we had milo and biscuits. Milo. Chocolate. On embargo as well. So I basically died on the first day.

So we showered before going to 'bed'. We sneaked off the the IB toilets. Pretty clean, I'll go back there in the future. Earlier that day we pitched many dome tents, so for that night we slept in one. Quite ok, aside from the fact that it was stuffy and hot. Dome tents not so bad.

Next day we left early in the morning for hike. I had finally decided to ignore the embargo. So we had breakfast, then we left for our hike. The hike lasted 2 days, but the first day was basically a trial hike, so our navigation skills weren't recorded. But still, it was very screwed up. We walked a long distance, didn't sleep well, had lousy food, and we carried stupid hike packs that weighed quite alot. So anyway, the coach ride was about 1-2 hours and they made us sleep on the bus so we couldn't trace our locations on the map. So we went to Lim Chu Kang, which is in the north-west of Singapore. After getting off our coaches, we set off. Walked quite alot, finding the points given to us on the map and getting there on foot. Not so bad, though lunch was instant noodles in a mess tin over hexamine fuel.

First, water is poured into a mess tin, which is actually just an aluminum box with a handle. Hexamine fuel is placed on the tommy cooker, and the hexamine fuel is lit. Here's where all the matches in our boxes lost their lives. It actually takes half a box of matches to get the piece of hexamine fuel on fire. And we had quite a few people in our group. So the instant noodles wasn't too bad, but not very filling.

Then we set off again for another part of the hike. After that we had dinner, which was burnt rice, corned beef, sausages and pork. Quite ok. Then we started walking again. We walked along this expressway until we reached many of these cemetries in Lim Chu Kang.

Cemetries aren't fun places to walk in, even more so at 11pm at night. With the added bonus of only small torch lights and an outdated map. So we walked through many of the paths in the cemetry, walked from the buddhist sections to the muslim sections, and nearly got lost because the point we were given on the map was in the middle of no where. So we walked around quite alot before we got out, and we didn't exactly shower. Just powder and a change of clothes.

So we pitched basha tents. In the middle of a wet field not far from the cemetry. And I think it rained like at 1-2am in the morning? It was so hot and humid, it was a miracle I actually got some shut-eye. And mosquitoes. They suck. Big time.

The next day when we woke up, everyone had alot of mosquito bites. Despite spamming the stupid place with repellant. So we had our hike test. Walked around in more cemetries. We ended our hike in NTU, and took a bus to Jurong Point, where we ate lunch. Macdonalds. More fried food, but this time all the canoeists had given up on sticking to the embargo. Especially after not having enough nutrition to last the 30km we walked.

That's about it for the hike. We took a bus from boon lay interchange, and missed the stop because everyone was so exhausted, even the officers. Ah well. When we got back to school, the other canoesists and I left for home, because we had to train on the next morning.

So ReZ, your camp still okay. No need be so happy that it has ended. When my camp ended I didn't say much. Maybe because I was sleeping alot hehe. Try walking for 30km with some dead weight. Not going to be as fun as singing stupid songs to camp instructors.

Next section is in reference to my sport.
I have only 2 words to say about kayaking: 'So fun'.
Muahahahahahahaha all you people so noob.
This has been a stupid post.
