Thinking about thinking... and God

Sometimes it's really rather frustrating to be trying your best to help others but not being appreciated in any way. Not like I need to be appreciated, and it's not like I will benefit if more people come to know God either. Only some people will ask you to do things that will harm you, but do I look like one of them? Of course not.

Does anyone think that philosophy lessons will make them any wiser? Not very much, even more so seeing that everyone is either openly sleeping or staring blankly. Sorry Madam that you feel that our class isn't participating much.

I was just talking to Qin Xiang earlier and he saw my POD book in the pigeon-hole. 13/20. Like that's 2nd highest in the class. But I don't really care.

Anyway some excerpts from our conversation:

Fal says:
think about thinking

Fal says:
what can we use that for??

Fal says:
if you're going to jump down philo won't help the situation

nqx. » twilight <3>
it would

nqx. » twilight <3>
it would make u want to jump down all the more

Fal says:
-.-

...

nqx. » twilight <3>

some ppl think so much that they go psycho and create cults that advocate suicides

Fal says:
yup

Fal says:
like psychologists go psycho

nqx. » twilight <3>

but if u consider things carefully

nqx. » twilight <3>
the other subjects r jus as useless as philo

nqx. » twilight <3>
i mean r u really going to go ard counting ur acceleration and velocity and the like

Fal says:
yup yup

Fal says:
eh actually that will help

Fal says:
you can calculate the maximum velocity you will hit when you're falling to your death

Fal says:
that will be quite cool

Fal says:
*sarcasm*

Wisdom doesn't come from studying, neither does it come from playing World of Warcraft. It comes from God's mercies and grace.

'For the Lord gives wisdom, from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.' - Proverbs 2:6

'I will give you the treasures of the darkness, riches stored in secret places, so that you may know that I am the Lord, the God of Israel, who summons you by name.' - Isaiah 45:3
