So yay today was conference day one. Woot so fun. Yay yay yay yay yay. Wonderful plus plus.
Haha so yea. Today is an extremly important day i guess. I woke up at 6.30 coz of the thunder and lightning and was like "What... its raining so heavily... si liao. So since i wasnt supposed to wake until 7 so i spend my time from 630 to 7 just lying down there making lil prayers and stuff about the rain, about today, about the poeple that are gonna go, about the impactors and yea. And of course wadayaknow. The rain stopped just nicely for us =). You know how HEAVY the rain was? It kinda stopped over a period of 5 to 10 mins rather suddenly. Dont tell me about luck i believe in miracles and the work of god. Lalalalalala. Lol. Hmm i dunno if the ppl involved want to elaborate on it but yea. So anyway lemme just go over it briefly. Charles and CW joined us for the conference today, so yay, and yea. Our group was called Savior basically and we owned the games lol winning 2 out of 3 and with the second one us coming in like what 10 mins before the 2nd group? We own lol. So yup yup. Yay. Wheee. Sheesh i should contain myself. Ok and yar. Erm Fal and Quezzy if u all hav any comments just edit this post and add it in in your respective colour, if i see anyone putting in their reflections i will add mine in too accordingly so yea. These arent reflections btw. Yea just add on and add on and add on to this post. Day 2 shld be added here too. Yup. ALRIGHT CONTINUATION FROM YESTERDAY

Today is yet again another AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME IMBA day. And when i use IMBA to describe something else other than myself in ego mode, it really means something.
So pretty much today was so so so funnn. Quezzy didnt go today and Charles left before the games but yea i declare SAVIOR WON TOP GROUP IN GAMES WHOOOO. We came in like what, first in four out of the seven games played lol. And yes we realise everything is like treasure hunt after treasure hunt.
And everything i say realize i keep thinking REALize lol. Im too addicted to the camp.

So erm yea not gonna go into all the details of the day and stuff, concert was so funny lol. Yay since we dont go into details of the camp since i bet Charles and Fal would do that, lets go into the concert wheee! And Bynes and fal can finally figure out what i've been scribbling lol.
Its nothing much im scribbling la i just dont like ppl to be looking when im scirbbling. Like i dun like it to be reading my posts as i type it either lol. You just see it right at the end. So yeaup. End product for what i've been scribbling throughout the concert. Skip past the entire section if you don't want to know concert.

The turnout for the concert was PRO. I was like walking the overhead bridge and then when i went down the steps i turned to the left and i was stunned i tell you. YOU SHOULD SEE THE LINE. Haha its the drawing power of our VIP. Dunno whos the VIP? Make a guess. No its not PM Lee or anyone in the parliament lol.
Shh dun go around telling ppl but Fal and me and a couple of other ppl tried means to get past the people. We claimed rights as DI members, which failed, then we tried the backdoor, which was locked, then we tried to explain that one of our friends was in crutches so we had to book a seat lower down the steps first hehe and finally... drum roll... we cut the entire queue LOL. Fal and I and another guy pretty much just walked right to the front as the first few people were going in then we filled up a gap whist talking like we know whats gonna happen as if we WERE supposed to be there or something den we got in. Lol first row was already taken so i chopped second row. Fal couldnt go in first coz he had to pick some ppl.
So i feel so bad taking his bag, putting on one chair, my bag another, two of my bottles on another two chairs lol. So it was very good that QX soon joined us so we could use 3 bags and 2 ppl instead lol. After awhile this usher was telling us that we cannot reserve sits but QX. I said they are coming soon, really soon and when the usher pointed to eugene's sit QX quickly said "hes just right outside" so the usher was pretty much "oh ok" lol and walked off YAYYYY.
After awhile Bynes and Fal came in so yeaup. 4 ppl one bag was way better lol. Charles was gonna be late so Fal came in first.
It started with this really cool dance featuring DI members, 5 gals and 1 guy with the 1 guy in the centre being our one and only group mentor Eddy woot. You should see them dance so shuai lol. The dance moves are nice la I cant even do a fraction of that i think haha. Should see when Eddy walks off to put on the super cool jacket haha.
So that kick started the concert yup. Then after that there was this skit. There was once this guy called Wayne. Blah blah blah blah blah. Then he got 2 frens and so on and so forth. They loved music HAHA I LOVED THE PART WHEN THEY SAID WAYNE THOUGHT SI'ER WAS A HOT GIRL LOLLLL. Super funny sia. Then near the end the super cool part (everything is super cool huh), and this is where i reveal the GOH too lol. The narrator said "To the two friends, they know him as Wayne, they best buddy. But to the rest of the world he is known as, JJ, LIN JUN JIE!!!"
Basically people started screaming and cheering and clapping which was something that you didnt see totally before that lol. Lights faded LJJ stepped up and did the classic thing that every pop artist does. Da jia hao, wo shi lin jun jie. Lol. And yes LJJ English name is Wayne dun believe check wiki. And yes he was from Westside Anglican thats why hes here and yes. He confessed that he really thought Si'Er was a hot girl LOOLLLLLL. (He also said that he was really the tut tut guy in sec sch lol).
I tell you ar, even though the thing said no photography and videoing before that, the minute LJJ come out, so did the cameras lol. The ushers had to go around tellinng ppl to keep lol. I had my cam out. But i didnt take a pic of LJJ i took one pic an entire row of ppl taking pic lol =). The church ppl were taking pics la and wif better cam somemore just take from them lor lol.
And LJJ can say some really funny stuff sometimes lol. Like there was one where they were collecting donations for the concert coz it was free so if you like it you dont have to but you may donate some money la. Then i think Si'Er said "or if you think LJJ is off form today not good enough dont want support him then dun donate" then LJJ said "but its about the concert so even if my songs are not nice still can donate... I mean the songs are still nice." Lol it was funny la it was like he almost said something along the lines of saying his songs today are not nice or something then he quickly added the last sentence then after that was saying "wah heng ar heng ar" lol. And unintentionally there were a few "gay" related things that came out like when Si'Er was saying "I was lying on Wayne's bed on his room... nothing else dont think too much". After like the second or third time LJJ was like "eh this is a church la" lol. Funny.
So yea. They sang some songs, apparently some songs like bian hao 89757 and chi pang were written by Si'Er which is pretty cool lol. And Jin Hang (sp?), the other fren, wrote bu liu lei de ji chang, which was a song in xi jie album last year and apparently it was written in JAP at first. Quezzy you missed it when they sang the never before heard version of bu liu lei de ji chang in JAP. Haha.
Si'Er performed hui you na me yi tian wif LJJ (Si'Er wrote that song too) and after that they were talking about the original tune of it and was super funny when you hear the emo emo song in R&B version lol.
Haha I guess when it comes down to singers and stuff they seem like some distant power or something but when LJJ comes up close in that small auditorium, you really feel actually hes just like all of us, cept with a real good talent in music lol. And he isnt afraid to acknowledge that it was the gift of God.
One thing that really stood out for me came the first time during the skit and was reemphasized by LJJ later. It was something that he said to Si'Er that made him renew his faith long long time ago. When Si'Er was stuck trying to figure out the lyrics to the tune of a song the LJJ had in mind, (the song is today known as chi pang), LJJ asked Si'Er one simple question, "Do you love music more, or do you love God more?" Think about that statement people.
Lol another interesting comment made is when he said "some of you here are really excited to be in a top secret LJJ concert that almost no one in Singapore knows, not even my fan club". Quite true actually i mean come on how many of you would know that. But the reason given is true. If everyone knew LJJ was having a free concert, then ppl will flock there just to see him and scream like a fan does what what LJJ was there for today, was not to promote his music or anything. It was to promote the love of God. To tell others that God loves us, and i hardly think thats possible with screaming fans around holding up banners saying I <3>For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. - New King James Version (NKJV)

and the conference GoH was jin hang. hes a really cool guy. and he was from acs too. well he gave us the message on both days. first day's message title was "REALize REALife, the life that you REALly wanted". it was about having God in ur life, and having Him above all else. the 2nd day's message title was "REALize that God exists, and that He loves you". the title is quite self-explanatory. Well jin hang was a good friend of lin jun jie. i rmbr quite alot abt him talking abt his life in sec sch with lin jun jie. and both of them are from west side angelican church.
then i learnt alot about Christ and God, and well even though i only started, i am going to try hard to learn more. and also to strive towards a better life and also to follow the plan that God has created for me.
well then to close the conference, lin jun jie was there to sing abit, there was a role play of his past. i rmbr jj admitting that he thought si er was not only a girl, but a very pretty one. lol. and then there was the "eh brother, u help me write a song about a small bird with big wings before hor, can help me write a song about this tau huay zui and you za kueh". yea and also, as matthew mentioned, the part where si er was like "i lied on his bed" then the audience was like "ooooh". plain hilarious. but it wasnt really much of a concert. he sang a few unoublicised songs, like before the editing in the final version and all. and also some worship songs.
yea then the last part, the pastors came on stage and spoke of the story of the lost son. the chinese pastor was damn funny.
English: Then he stopped partying.
Chinese: ta jiu mei you party liao. LOL
and and
English: His father told him goodbye.
Chinese: ta de papa shuo byebye.
yea so. the whole conference was fun. and well it was also insightful and good for your soul. :)
i did alot of things during this conference, and i hope that whoever joins us in the next one, will also be able to share the same experience as me. all the different prayers. well and thanks eddy for praying for me. (:
so have a good night guys. sch begins tmr. holidays have come to an end. so i'll work harder than previous term, cuz i totally slacked last term and pulled down my marks. so i gotta be working extra hard in term 4, to get everything back on track. especially my physics. oh and btw, by God's grace, my physics tuition teacher suddenly made another slot for sec 3 tuition on thursday night 7-9pm. well so now i can regularly go for cell i guess. so thank you God. (:
I mean COME ON. ITS CHARLES. Havnt you seen how against he used to be. If Charles thinks its good for you, its good for you lol. So yeaup =). God bless.

Ok. so over the past 3 days. i have been with the ppl from DI, well fri and sat were conference while today was just eating ice cream lols. the REALize conference was really cool. i'm looking forward to the next conference. the entire conference was split into 8 groups, advocate, shepherd, rock, conqueror, friend, master, saviour and teacher. i was in saviour. our group was 1 of the 3 lightstix group. aka the younger ones. the other 5 were matchstix groups. we kinda won the more than half the games overall. and we have a lot of keychains. i was there for friday games but was absent from saturday games. the amazing race and treasure hunt style games, we won by quite a huge stretch. the stick-ur-sweet-wrapper-on-the-paper game was still ok, we had 3 wrappers drop. winning team had all 17 wrappers on. well we only had 15 wrappers to begin with.
