Nostalgic

Hmm... the second time I've experienced this kind of difficulty in an external math competition. Reminds me of the Asia Pacific Mathematics Olympiad for Primary Schools I went for in p6. Anyway let's review two of the questions:

A number is less than 2008. When divided by 3, it gives a remainder of 2. When divided by 5, it gives a remainder of 4. What is the sum of all the digits of the largest such possible number?

I thought for 15 minutes. Then gave up.

...

How many zeroes are there in 2008! (two thousand and eight factorial)?

Mr Jason Chan left the class to answer a call. So Ryan pulled out a calculator and tried to find 2008!. Guess what he got. MATH ERROR.

Ok and a random joke for the day to end it off: What do you wear to an informal party during a war? A casual t. Casualty?
