It started with trying to get LF2 coz the new version was out this year and had survival mode. Then the installation had problems. So this dude here just went to play R-LF2 instead.
You know how that hero 'CL' was gay beyond comprehension and wasnt even fun to play? And then beside him there was another super imba guy called Richter or something?
Richter is damn fun to play =D.
Yes I know Richter can ohko everyone in vs mode easily. Yes I know Richter is overpowered. So whats the fun in playing him?
The point is, he doesnt have the absolute invulnerability of CL (Only other CLs can hit CL, other people hitting CL reduces his hp by like, i dunno after 5 minutes of just letting them whack u u lose 1/4?), Richter has a very high defence and attacks cant harm him that much either. But unlike CL, he doesnt fade away after getting hit so he can continue to get hit. Eventually his hp will wear down unlike CL.
Richter doesnt have the crazy movesets of CL. Eternal Death was like 'oh look i just cleared the entire LEVEL in stage mode'. And it isnt even funny when CL casts fascination on Julian at the very end. On the other hand, Richter's moves with the exception of his ulti deal very little damage. Like nomal punches type of damage. Richter's ulti is rather mana consuming (not as much considering its power actually but not like CL whos mana barely goes down) and Richter CANNOT pick up items thus disabling him from using any health or mana pots throughout the game (though he does have a very strong passive regen but regen only heals the dark red parts).
To be honest, Julian or Firzen may almost be a match for Richter, and Julian and Firzen simply trash Richter when he doesnt use his ulti. I tried to 1v1 them without ulti and got pwned. Especially by mr exploding non stop Julian. And in stage mode 5-9, my Richter almost lost to the 4.5k hp Julian. If not for the ally Firzen (Overwhelming disaster is strong against Julian), sure kena wipe one.
So whats the fun in Richter?
Battle mode.
Take Richter, and fight gigantic mobs alone. Its fun ok. You need to understand the nature of Richter's movesets. He is a guy who can change his attack from one form into another. So what you do is you run, drop into a slide kick, then kick off and propell upwards with an uppercut, change direction in midair coming slashing down, release ulti in the middle of the enemy mob.
I set Bat as my opponent throughout the battle mode (I suppose hes the most annoying spammer other than Firzen and Julian who would have utterly ruined me, bat isnt strong, just really annoying) and barely scraped through the preset maximum setting game, which isnt really max but the real max would prolly hang the game lol. I was lucky I killed Bat within like the first 30 seconds so the rest of that battle was handling the huge mobs while losing as little hp as possible.
So you see, you can still ramp up the difficulty. And thats fun. Taking some imba dude but instead of thrashing his weaker counterparts, you take him as a lone hero against an entire army. And unlike CL, you cant just walk right in a be done with everyone. It requires skill and agility, how fast you react for one. Like running running running, gigantic ball comes from edge of screen, slide!! Even Julian wouldnt be as fun playing like this since hes like 'I spam soul bomb and kill you lul'. Or Firzen's 'Overwhelming disaster clear team lul'. Richter has no real projectiles. You need to get into the heat of the battle with him.
I would try that with Louis EX as well but Louis EX cant handle such a powerful army. Maybe a smaller army would be fun with him too =p.
Ah well. Back to the days of R-LF2 lol.
I still want my original LF2 v2.0a T.T. My 100 levels of survival mode. How the heck do you fight 50 Julians at the last level?
