Limerence is something like what people nowadays call infatuation but its different in the sense that infatuation is often associated with immaturity and are short lived 'crushes'. Limerence on the other hand may potentially be long term and can happen to anyone of any age. Its interesting to see much being said about this topic haha. Its damn cool.
Amusing how I started reading about it. I was searching wiki for the album name for David Archuleta's Crush xD.
And then I read about OCD and defense mechanisms. Yea Limerence is related to OCD and OCD is related to defense mechanisms.
Go search it up yourself and you will seriously find it very interesting. And its not even rare its like so common lol.
