Rawr. Im finding it difficult to breathe again nowadays. Old problem since sec 3s. Chun Wee tells me to go see a doctor but this is like what, 10 times already? Besides the other time the school heart checkup didnt find anything wrong so whatever =/. Haha sometimes I get super sharp chest pains too but I think that one is common isit?
I bet a whole bunch of people who just read that will go 'GO SEE A DOCTOR LA' but if you know me well enough then yea, its an old problem. I dont really remember clearly but I think my mom brought me to see a doctor before and he said there was nothing wrong and its probably stress, which makes sense coz I get it at all the more stressful times, then somemore it only happens when I think about it, when im not conscious about it, it doesnt happen so there another evidence its psychological. What I dont get is how come like only I have o.o. Anyway, I suppose its unimportant, my mom knows and she just tells me to relax lol so yar.
But its highly annoying though. Highly highly highly annoying.
Anyway, for some reason, G.K. Chesterton is appearing everywhere!! First I read him in my TOK book quotes, then when I actually read the chapter on logic he appears twice. Then later someone else I cant remember who mentioned him. Then I found him while googling for something else random. Then I read about him in The Case For A Creator. Then I saw his book in the Primers library today.
That ever happens to you? You suddenly find out about this new thing, and all of a sudden its appearing everywhere when it has never happened before lol.
Happened a little with Philip Yancey. I read his book. Then later I found another of his book. Then later I found out he writes for ODB. But this one not so much because its just I never noticed before that but the G.K. Chesterton one is rather weird lol.
Anyway, hes quite cool!! I thought his quotes are really good, and his TOKish arguments are pretty nice, and then afterwards I found out he was a Christian apologist, and in fact he preceded C.S. Lewis and one of his books was the stepping stone to C.S. Lewis' conversion from atheism lol.
Yep. And now to jump back to Philip Yancey, I wanna read his book 'The Jesus I Never Knew'. Read abit about it, its another award winning book like 'Whats so amazing about grace' haha. Anyone have can lend me? =p
Also, what are good books are there? I ran out of materials lol and I dont want to anyhow take. Prefably not on apologetics I think I had quite a dose of that already, too much apologetics too little God is not healthy.
Haha as for non Christian books, I wanna read Nineteen Eighty Four by George Orwell. Anyone has it? Lend me =). Although I kinda spoiled myself already by reading the book summary heh but still it should be an interesting read.
Rawr. And this post began cause I was writing out my skeleton for the logic TOK reflections.
ITS GONNA BE EPIC OMIGOSH!!
HAHA im so happy about the reflections. Its gonna be another one of my powerful essays. I predict it will be probably around TOK essay length. For mere reflections that only require 500 words =D. If all goes well, 10/10 here I come xD.
Sounds crazy, screaming happy to do homework and getting perfection but I cant help it, TOK is quite cool xD. Its a platform for me to throw my insights and stuff, all those things I think about. And logic is one area that I would love to tackle. A huge chunk of my reflection is actually going to be destroying the idea of the imbaness of logic =). Fun stuff ^^. I agree with many of the quotes in the book and will use them, elaborate on them, and use logic against logic =). Haha the essay will be mainly based off the book but it will delve deeper.
Lalalalala. Thinking is fun ^^. Well thinking what you like to think about, not the ones that teachers force you to think about.
Oh well. Time to go. Cyaaaaaa. I think im high from lack of sleep rawr.

Oh oh oh ps forgot haha. Today, I thank God for blessing me with this thinkers mindset (I use this term coz I dont know what term to define it as lol). This sounds absolutely elitist but im saying it seriously. I may not be the brightest person, but its good enough. I dont know how to put it, but people have commented that I seem to be rather good at critical and lateral thinking problems. This might be due to my interest as I have been reading widely on these since young I suppose. Additionally, I do think alot about stuff and I like that. Analytical and all. I dunno how to describe la. People in class seem to treat me as the TOK guy (which is actually a lil annoying) but I honestly just offer my thoughts every lesson, so perhaps it comes naturally to me? But its sad sometimes luh, coz people dont appreciate it as much as I do and they dont place such a high importance in these philosophical stuff like I do. Like 4th dimension. Its like a joke now, but its still a very serious concept to me (though I play around with it as a joke as well sometimes lol).
So thank God for this thing which I dont know how to properly refer to it =). Certainly im nowhere near the standard of philosophers, but hey, I dont need to be ^^. Others can find a sense of acheivement in their things like sports and performing arts. Im terrible at both sadly (though I wished I could be better at performing arts, I dont really care about sports heh), but I have been blessed with this =p.
It also makes me queer but whatever la. Haha not many people appreciate drong and cbt for their imbaness in psychology (yup psychology is included in my that thing) which makes me queer when I do. I dont think many people will be enthusiastic about abstract concepts either, but hey whatever, this is me ^^.
To end off, three sisters philosophy is noob philosophy lul. Though the ideas are conveyed in a pretty interesting manner but thats more lit than philosophy. Oh wait its a lit book oops.
