Jesus was very much against hypocrisy, speaking against the pharisees using the metaphors of whitewashed tombs and stuff.
Jesus hung around the people who lived in sin, didnt mind their company and was willing to teach them. He was labeled a friend of sinners.
What is the connection between sin and hypocrisy? Sometimes I think that I am a little bit of a hypocrite, because despite professing my faith in Jesus, there are many things in my life that are still less than satisfactory. Yet this makes me wonder if I should really label people like us who are trying hard as 'hypocrites', because Jesus didn't.
