Season 5 of Kingdom
Underrated anime for sure.
I follow the manga first and foremost. Kanki is to me the most interesting character in the whole series, and the the kind of things he brings to the story are what makes Kingdom so good.
Also this ending song slaps.

Solo Leveling
Followed the manhwa. My take - SL will be remembered in the way dragon ball is remembered. It's not a particularly good story, but it was the herald in a new era of high quality, feast for the eyes, Korean Manhwas. I'm sure the manhwas of Survival Story and ORV (or at least the quality of the adaptation) exist today in part because of the groundwork laid by SL.
So when the anime was announced, there were mixed reactions. Concerns about whether it will live up to the hype because what made SL so good was the art, the story is medicore at best.
Happy to say that while SL is still a generic power fantasy, they made good choices and adapted the art well to the new medium, voice acting was great, and they made great choices in terms of slight changes in the story to make it more cohesive overall.
Also, SawanoHiroyuki[nZk] for soundtrack. Of course they delivered.
If you don't know who that is, just watch the song and think about which anime would have insert songs like this haha. Or watch the scene where it took place in episode 6 and how the OST is used to set the tone of the scene.
