Usually I like to listen to the 'newer' songs on my ipod. Many of the older ones I have in there are like rotting away and I listen only to like, 20 or so of my songs?
But its good sometimes to just shuffle your playlist and play everything. You'll be surprised. Songs that you stopped listening to long ago come back again with great meaning and they make you fall in love with them like how you once did.
'Oh you bring' isnt particularly a very old song but its one that I havnt listened to in quite some time, few months perhaps. I know I havnt since school started thats for sure. Since 2010 im not sure but I think so.
I suppose in this album, 'Tear Down The Walls', 'Freedom Is Here', 'You Hold Me Now' and 'Yours Forever' always pop into my mind first. I still love those songs but today this song captured my attention in the midst of just doing my math homework with music in the background.
I would have to highlight the entire song if I wanted to bring a specific point out so I cant. The whole song is really meaningful. But just for this time, I would like to draw our attention to the bridge.
In the midst of difficult times, in the midst of perhaps hopelessness, darkness, restlessness, emptiness, weakness. We proclaim it.

Also, I still think Abundant Life songs are really nice haha listened to some while on the shuffle mode today and I would want to share them with others except they're like, impossible to find on youtube. Why does my mom have this CD when it seems so non existent on the net lol.
And + respect points to Mr Tong Yee, keynote speaker for today's Econs short film competition. For daring to stand out and challenge the norms, for even criticizing the videos, but not to put them down but to show the light. Hated by some for his unpopular words, but respected by others for the very same reason.
And the judging wasnt so good. Not to suan my own school but I didnt think they deserved to win. Ok that comes across too strongly, no they aren't that bad but there are better. I think this feeling is felt amongst most year 5s today as well that when the first prize was announced, instead of the loud cheers and applause, there was clapping and murmuring. If its because we are the hosts, then thats pretty biased isnt it? Let that not happen next year, I'd rather lose graciously.
